![]() ProgramsAt Noah’s Ark, every child experiences all the wonders of learning. Our dedicated teachers accomplish this through interest centers, relevant themes, teacher-directed activities, classroom visitors, and field trips.
3-YEAR-OLD PROGRAM
The primary focus of our 3-Year-Old Preschool Program is socialization. For many children, this is their first time away from their parents and their first experience in a group situation. Children in our 3-Year-Old Preschool Program have many opportunities throughout the day to gain self-confidence, develop and practice listening and language skills, learn to cooperate with other children, and enjoy discovering the world around them. 3-Year-Old Preschool classes:
4-YEAR-OLD PRE-KINDERGARTEN PROGRAM
Children in our 4-Year-Old 4-Year-Old Pre-Kindergarten classes: BEFORE-SCHOOL PLAYTIME![]() Before-School Playtime is designed for children whose parents find it necessary to drop them off between 8:10 and 8:30. The children enjoy exploring the Activity Centers during this time. SUMMERTIME FUN![]() The Summertime Fun Program, geared to 4-, 5-, and 6-year-olds, is held during July. Children enjoy four weeks
TYPICAL DAY AT NOAH’S ARK![]() Each day at Noah’s Ark is filled with a variety of fun, educational, and interesting activities organized around a weekly theme. Activities are developmentally appropriate for each age group. Gathering Time: Children come together for an opening prayer, a greeting song, and a preview of the day’s activities. Center Time: Children decide which areas to explore, play, and learn in. They can choose from a number of Activity Centers, including dramatic play, blocks, the sand/water table, manipulative toys, language arts, science, woodworking, easel painting, and table activities (art, playdough, and readiness games). ![]() Pick-Up: Children learn responsibility as they participate in picking up their classroom. Music/Movement: Children come together for finger plays, songs, musical games, and/or movement activities. Snack and Rest: Children say a prayer, share a snack with their friends, and then rest for a few minutes. Story Time: Children gather together to hear a story related to the theme of the week. Dismissal: Children get themselves ready to go home. The door is opened and the children greet their parents. Our day together at Noah’s Ark is over.
